Okujere Praise is the Legal and Research Officer at the Centre for Legal Support and Inmate Rehabilitation (CELSIR). She is a legal practitioner with experience in litigation, legal research, dispute resolution, contract drafting and review, and legal advisory services across various areas of Nigerian law. Her work is anchored in a strong commitment to expanding access to justice, strengthening the rule of law, and advancing the protection of vulnerable and underserved persons within the justice system.

At CELSIR, she plays a key role in supporting strategic litigation, conducting in-depth legal research, contributing to policy advocacy, and coordinating pro bono legal services aimed at improving access to justice for justice-impacted individuals. She also works closely on initiatives that bridge the gap between legal systems and rehabilitation efforts, ensuring that legal interventions are not only corrective but also restorative in nature.

She is particularly passionate about criminal justice reform, the protection and enforcement of fundamental human rights, and the development of practical, evidence-based legal solutions that promote rehabilitation, reintegration, and meaningful systemic reform. Through her work, she remains committed to advancing a justice system that is fair, humane, and responsive one that recognizes dignity as central to justice and prioritizes outcomes that foster inclusion, accountability, and lasting social impact.
