CELSIR Sponsors Computer Skills Training for 28 Learners in Ogun

CELSIR sponsored the Basic Computer Skills Training Programme for 28 learners at the Old Abeokuta Custodial Centre, Ibara, Ogun State, culminating in a graduation ceremony held on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The programme reflects CELSIR’s commitment to expanding access to education, digital skills and meaningful rehabilitation opportunities for people in custodial facilities.

Through the training, participants gained foundational computer skills designed to strengthen their knowledge, improve their readiness for future opportunities and support their reintegration into society.

Speaking at the event, the Nigerian Correctional Service appreciated CELSIR for her support towards rehabilitation and skills development within custodial facilities reinforcing the importance of collaboration in creating sustainable pathways for reintegration.

For CELSIR, supporting this programme is part of a broader commitment to ensuring that time spent in custody can become an opportunity to learn, grow and prepare for life beyond incarceration.
