Research and Advocacy
Research and advocacy are integral to our mission of fostering change for justice-impacted individuals and communities. We believe that effective reform hinges on addressing systemic inequities that lead to mass incarceration and marginalization.
Creating a Society where Justice-Impacted individuals receive their deserved rights
Amplifying the voices of justice-impacted individuals to ensure their experiences shape public policy
Our research initiatives involve collecting and analyzing data to uncover the challenges faced by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, focusing on critical criminal justice reform issues. Through in-depth studies and policy reviews, we aim to produce evidence-based insights that inform more effective policies and programs.
We actively collaborate with policymakers, academics, and community leaders to amplify the voices of justice-impacted individuals, ensuring their experiences shape public policy conversations. Our advocacy encompasses fighting for fair parole hearings, combating wrongful convictions, and challenging discriminatory practices. By intertwining rigorous research with advocacy efforts, we strive to dismantle unjust systems and promote equity, justice, and human dignity.
Together, we can create a society where justice-impacted individuals receive the support, opportunities, and rights they deserve.
